The International Language

English is the fourth most widely spoken native language in the world, and in terms of sheer number of speakers, it is the most spoken official language in the world. It is the primary language used in international affairs. The English language has official status even in nations where it is not the primary spoken language. English is indisputably the primary language of global trade and commerce. In many countries, most tourism authorities and other officials in contact with the public speak English to interact and engage with tourists and immigrants.

Proyecto de Lectura.

En el Instituto de Ciencias creemos que es de suma importancia el fomento a la lectura. El área de inglés no es la excepción.


En este segundo bimestre damos inicio a nuestro programa de lectura, que se llevará a cabo en todos los niveles.
En algunos niveles se hará con lecturas cortas proporcionadas por la maestra, y en otros con la lectura de libros escritos en inglés. Los títulos elegidos para estos niveles son:  The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon  y  The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley.
